Job summary

Capital Region ESD 113 is seeking a Prevention-Intervention Professional to support True North Student Assistance programs, focusing on prevention, intervention, and referrals for students and families affected by behavioral health issues.

The role collaborates with school staff and families to provide a safe, drug-free learning environment and adheres to program policies and applicable laws while maintaining confidential student records.

Qualifications

• Experience applying assessment instruments.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and case management.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and software.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws for behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Screenings, interventions, and referrals for behavioral health issues.
• Educate staff, students, and parents on programs and services.
• Establish a visible, campus presence to increase awareness of issues.
• Facilitate behavioral health intervention groups for substance use and mental health.
• Maintain student records and intervention files in accordance with laws and policies.
• Participate in committees and activities related to behavioral health prevention and referral.
