Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Prevention-Intervention Professional to support True North Student Assistance program at Miller Junior High School in Aberdeen, WA. The role focuses on prevention, intervention, and referral services for students and families affected by behavioral health issues.

The position reports to the Clinical Supervisor and involves campus presence, group interventions, record-keeping, and collaboration with school, juvenile justice, and behavioral health partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about alcohol and drug confidentiality laws and behavioral health screening processes.
• Understanding adolescent development and mental health issues.
• Ability to maintain confidential student records and manage case files.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, interventions, and referrals for behavioral health issues in compliance with laws and policies.
• Educate staff, students, and families on prevention programs and mental health promotion campaigns.
• Maintain and organize student records and intervention files with accuracy.
• Collaborate with committees and partner with external systems for coordinated care.
