CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Must hold a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania
  • Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is often required
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy goals within IEPs for students with disabilities
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
  • Evaluate Students' Physical Needs: Conduct assessments to identify physical challenges affecting students' ability to participate in school activities.
  • Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Create tailored therapy programs to address students' mobility, strength, and motor skills development.
  • Provide Physical Therapy Services: Administer hands-on therapy sessions to improve physical function, strength, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure integrated support for students' physical needs.
  • Document Progress and Report: Maintain accurate records of students' progress and update therapy plans as needed.
