Central Bucks School District in Doylestown, PA seeks a full-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for Kutz Elementary School. The position supports a student with autism/emotional/behavioral needs, providing one-to-one assistance in class, specials, lunch and recess.

Hours are 8:30 AM to 3:50 PM, 10 months, with a 90-day provisional period; new hire must have a high school diploma or GED. Additional training and benefits accompany the role.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED equivalent required at time of hire (the minimum).
• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, effectively communicate with both students and adults and be a positive role model for students.

Mansioni

• Duties include working one-to-one with a student with autism/emotional/behavioral needs/intellectual disability/medical needs/physical needs/grooming and personal care needs/academic needs/organizational and impulsivity needs, in the classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.
