Job summary

Sage Connections, LLC is hiring a School Based Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support K–12 students in the Pittsburgh, PA area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time W-2 role offers 30–40 hours per week and a 1:1 or small group caseload in the school setting.

The PCA will assist with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene while following care plans and collaborating with educators, therapists, and nurses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or students with special needs preferred.
• Ability to follow medical, behavioral, or personal care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs.
• Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
• Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by school staff or medical team.
• Document services and report observations to relevant team members.
• Promote student safety, independence, and dignity.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses as part of a student support team.

We're hiring full-time W-2 Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support K–12 students in the school setting for the 2026–2027 school year . • Caseload : 1:1 or small group student support (K–12)
• Schedule : Monday – Friday
• Hours : 30–40 hours/week
• Dates : August 2026 – May 2027
• Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs
• Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day
• Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by school staff or medical team
• Document services and report observations to relevant team members
  Promote student safety, independence, and dignity
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses as part of a student support team
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• MUST HAVE experience working with children or students with special needs preferred
• Ability to follow medical, behavioral, or personal care protocols
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must pass background check and school-specific onboarding requirements
