Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a vibrant New Jersey school setting. The contract runs three days per week from September 15th through October 22nd, with potential extension.

The ideal candidate holds an SLP Master’s, CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility, and NJ licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date. Responsibilities include delivering IEP-based therapy, conducting assessments, and maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY).
• New Jersey SLP licensure (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to evolving caseloads.
• Effective communication abilities for working with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Providing speech, language, and communication therapy to students based on IEP goals.
• Conducting assessments to guide intervention planning and therapy approaches.
• Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
• Participating in IEP meetings and case conferences when necessary.
• Adapting therapy activities to meet individual student needs.
