Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students' communication needs in a vibrant school setting near East Hanover, NJ. This contract opportunity offers a flexible three-day workweek and begins on 9/15, with potential for extension.

The role involves assessing and treating students with speech and language disorders, collaborating with the IEP team, documenting progress, and communicating with teachers and parents. Licensure in NJ and CFY/CCC considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Holds current or eligibility for SLP licensure in New Jersey.
• ASHA CCC preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in pediatrics and school-based service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with the IEP team.
• Track progress, document services provided, and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Engage in consultation with teachers and parents to support each student’s growth and success.
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the evolving needs of the caseload.
