Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a flexible contract role near Paterson, NJ, starting Sept 15 through Oct 22, with possible extension. The position covers three days per week in a supportive school setting.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NJ SLP license, CCC or CFY candidates welcome, and school or pediatric experience preferred. Expect collaboration with teachers and families and involvement in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in New Jersey.
• CCC or CFY candidates welcomed.
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop supportive intervention strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational plans.
• Adapt therapy methods and materials to serve diverse student needs.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
