Job summary

Acton Boxborough Regional Schools seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students with physical, developmental, sensory, and neuromuscular needs in a school setting. You will work under the supervision of an OT/PT to implement therapeutic interventions and help students access their curriculum.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Massachusetts State licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience with children in pediatric settings preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to be flexible to frequently changing schedule; capable of working with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions under supervision of a licensed OT or PT.
• Collaborate with therapists and school staff to implement treatment plans.
• Support students with physical, developmental, sensory, neuromuscular, or orthopedic needs in a school setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as part of student care.
