Job summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a contract-based role supporting schools near Birmingham, AL. You will work onsite across four sites, delivering services tailored to IEP goals and ensuring compliance with school requirements.

The role runs from ASAP through June 10, with 30-minute sessions and caseloads of 50–60 students, using individual, small group, and push-in models, following school hours (7:45 am–3:45 pm).

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Occupational Therapy certification and licensure required.
• Experience delivering OT services in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, special educators, and families.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to in-person, onsite services (remote work not available).

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy to students as specified in IEPs.
• Deliver therapy through individual, small group, and push-in modalities.
• Maintain thorough session documentation and progress reports.
• Consult with teachers and team members to support student success in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations.
