Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support middle school students in a contract position from ASAP through May 27, 2027. The daily schedule runs 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 36.25 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch.

In this role you will collaborate with educators and related professionals, participate in IEP processes, conduct assessments, and help students build independence in school activities across both general and self-contained classrooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program (master's or doctorate).
• NBCOT passing score with Illinois verification.
• Active Illinois OT license with ongoing CE.
• Experience in school settings is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with IEP development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to 6th-8th grade students in a variety of educational environments.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams within general education and self-contained settings.
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to the IEP process.
• Support student participation in classroom activities and daily school routines.
