Job summary

Soliant is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to support students in a vibrant school-based setting near Calhoun City, MS. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators and specialists to advance learning, participation, and well-being.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree (MOT or Doctorate), an active MS license, and experience with IEPs. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid training, and relocation or travel stipends; W2 employment available.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active and unrestricted OT license in the state.
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Comfort with varied caseloads and the IEP process.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions guided by students’ individual needs and educational goals.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations for students with physical, emotional, or developmental challenges.
• Participate in development of IEPs, contribute to student progress reports, and attend relevant meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide strategies and training for classroom success.
• Document all services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment to maximize every student’s potential.
