Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team and help students build the skills they need to participate, learn, and thrive in their educational environment.

This role focuses on fine motor skills, sensory processing, behavioral regulation, ADLs/IADLs, classroom participation, and functional living skills, with evaluations, treatment plans, and IEP/504 goals.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio OT licensure or registration to practice in schools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; valid Ohio license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group OT interventions based on student needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop student-centered treatment plans.
• Implement IEP/504 goals and monitor student progress.
• Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to generalize skills.
• Maintain timely, confidential documentation and records.
