Job summary

Career Links is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students' independence and success in the educational setting. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within IEP goals.

The role requires an OT Master’s degree, Wisconsin licensure or eligibility, and NBCOT certification. School-based experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current Wisconsin OT license or eligibility required.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Eligibility to work in Wisconsin schools required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students for OT services and determine eligibility per guidelines.
• Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with diverse needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings with educators, families, and staff.
• Assess fine motor, sensory, and functional skills impacting education.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology as needed.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports.
