Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Wisconsin is seeking an Educational Occupational Therapist to service two elementary schools during the school year. This full-time contract offers 37.5 hours weekly, with a supportive environment focused on helping students succeed and gain independence.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, document progress for a caseload of 62 students, supervise an OTA, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license required.
• Experience in school settings and with school-aged children strongly preferred.
• Ability to oversee and mentor an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for creating positive learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to students across two elementary schools.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Assess, document, and track progress for a caseload of 62 students.
• Supervise and provide support to an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), overseeing their work with part of the caseload.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes.
• Offer guidance and recommendations for adapting classroom activities to better serve students.
