Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services from August 12 through May 21. You will assess students, develop individualized therapy plans, deliver direct and consultative OT in classrooms, and work closely with educators, families, and other therapists to support academic and personal growth.

This contract role emphasizes collaboration, detailed documentation, and participation in IEP processes, with flexible scheduling and professional development

Qualifications

• Valid OT license in the state.
• Experience delivering OT in a school/educational setting.
• Proficiency with evaluations, IEPs, and goal setting.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs.
• Experience working with individual students and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and growth areas.
• Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT in classrooms and therapy spaces.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate strategies into daily routines.
• Maintain detailed progress records and document outcomes.
• Support IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications.
