Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract in a supportive educational setting starting early September, potentially through the school year. You will work closely with a COTA and a strong professional network dedicated to student achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including COTAs, teachers, and administration.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills, especially with managing caseloads.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student and program needs.
• Compassion and commitment to promoting functional independence for students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to help students achieve educational goals.
• Assess and monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the COTA to delegate tasks and provide guidance.
• Maintain accurate, thorough records of services and student outcomes.
• Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom and at home.
• Attend or participate in team meetings and provide input on student plans.
