Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support preschool through 5th grade students under an August 5, 2026 to December 19, 2026 contract. This position offers 40 hours per week, with potential to be filled by one OT or split between two OTs across sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the IEP team, comprehensive assessments, and progress reporting, while providing meaningful flexibility and an opportunity to impact children's development during a semester.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), eligible to practice in a school setting.
• Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred.
• Familiarity with preschool through 5th grade populations.
• Strong collaboration skills for IEP team participation.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive OT assessments and re-evaluations.
• Ability to write clear, actionable progress on IEP goals.
• Excellent time management and adaptability to serve as a resource across sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services directly to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Serve as an active member of the IEP team, contributing expertise and recommendations
• Complete required OT assessments, re-evaluations, and progress reports
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service staff
• Support students in achieving their educational and developmental milestones
• Maintain accurate documentation according to district and legal standards
