Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Indiana is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in a school setting. You will assess, plan, and provide OT services aligned with IEP goals to promote independence and academic success.

This contract position offers collaboration with teachers and families, flexible scheduling, and ongoing professional development to help students reach their highest potential.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to deliver therapy in accordance with students individual education plans
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to engage students at various developmental stages and adapt interventions as needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students strengths and needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care activities
• Develop, implement, and manage individual therapy plans, setting measurable objectives to help students meet educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and updates on student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services per students IEPs
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation to track interventions and student improvement
