Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of practice.
• Experience in a school-based setting with K-12 assessment knowledge.
• Strong communication with educators, parents and support staff.
• Ability to travel between assigned schools as scheduled.
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students per IEPs.
• Assess students' functional abilities and needs through evaluations and standardized assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned to educational goals.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers and families to promote student participation and progress.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of services and student progress.
• Provide training and consultative support to staff and families to maximize student outcomes.
• Balance a dynamic schedule, spending two days each week at each assigned location.
