Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to fill a full-time, school-based contract serving students for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs August 20, 2026, through June 9, 2027, with a standard 40-hour work week and opportunities to collaborate with teachers, aides, and families.

The OT will conduct evaluations, implement interventions aligned with IEP goals, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping students achieve

Qualifications

• Active state OT license (or eligibility).
• Experience in school-based OT, including assessments, documentation, and direct student intervention.
• Understanding of IEP process and special education services.
• Excellent communication for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
• Strong organizational abilities for managing multiple students and caseloads.
• Energetic, adaptable, and dedicated to fostering student independence and success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on students' IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and track progress.
• Work closely with educators, aides, and families to establish relevant goals and measure outcomes.
• Document sessions, progress updates, and communication as required by the school.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote techniques and adaptations to encourage participation and learning across a diverse student population.
