Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy across two walkable campuses in New York. This full-time contract runs from now through the school year, with weekday hours from 7:30am to 3:00pm, totaling 32.5 hours weekly in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities include delivering about nine sessions daily, conducting evaluations and IEP contributions, and collaborating with teachers and families to promote student progress and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering services aligned to student goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately nine therapy sessions each day for elementary and middle school students.
• Conduct evaluations and progress documentation; participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide individualized and group interventions to improve participation and performance at school.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize planning periods to prepare materials and document notes.
• Split time between two campuses within walking distance and build relationships across sites.
