Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services within a local school district in Minnesota. This 1099 independent contracting role includes on-site and off-site mentorship and access to extensive resources to support therapy planning and parent involvement.

The position emphasizes collaboration with educators, ongoing professional development, and adherence to IEP goals while delivering evidence-based therapy in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Clearances for child abuse, FBI background check, and state background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide specialized occupational therapy services meeting IEP goals.
• Screen, evaluate, and document student progress using approved tools.
• Participate in IEP/ MDT meetings to adapt therapy interventions and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom-based strategies for carryover.
• Provide consultative services to involve parents in the therapy plan.
