Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our School in Leechburg. This role offers an hourly rate of $50.0 and involves evaluating students, developing and revising IEPs, and delivering direct OT services to learners across grades K–12+ to support academic success and independence.

Ideal candidates hold NBCOT certification and a valid state OT license, with experience working with children who have autism preferred.

Qualifications

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' functional abilities and identify individualized treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans, including participation in the development and revision of IEPs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K–12+ to support academic success and independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, current professional licensure, and all required continuing education in accordance with agency and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress and achieve educational goals.
• Evaluate sensory-motor, neuromuscular, psychosocial, and cognitive-perceptual skills that impact student performance.
