Job summary

Merakey in Philadelphia invites an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our school program at 3240 North Hancock. You will evaluate students, develop IEP-driven treatment plans, and deliver direct OT services to grades K-12+ to support academic success.

Ideal candidates hold a OT degree, current NBCOT certification, and a valid state license. Autism experience is preferred; strong collaboration with teachers and families is essential. Competitive benefits included.

Position Details

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' functional abilities and identify individualized treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans, including participation in the development and revision of IEPs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12+ to support academic success and independence.
• Evaluate sensory-motor, neuromuscular, psychosocial, and cognitive-perceptual skills that impact student performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress and achieve educational goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, current professional licensure, and all required continuing education in accordance with agency and state regulations.
