Job summary

LLA Therapy in Northeast Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support school-based caseloads. You will deliver therapy services, document progress, and collaborate with educators to align goals with IEP requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in OT, state licensure, and strong communication. The role requires professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to manage Medicaid billing and ETR/IEP meetings within a fast-paced educational setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Ohio is required.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Completed FBI and BCI background checks (can be completed upon hire).
• Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire).
• Professional Liability Insurance recommended by governing body.
• Positive, goal-oriented with ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing treatment to assigned school-based caseload.
• Document, monitor, analyze, and report student progress.
• Conduct educational evaluations and report findings in ETRs.
• Write educational therapy goals and background information for IEPs.
• Attend and present evaluation findings in IEP and ETR meetings.
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to support learning.
• Maintain therapy minutes and report due dates; complete Medicaid billing.
