Job summary

LLA Therapy is seeking a full‑time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide school-based therapy across Northeast Ohio. You will work under the supervision of an OT, deliver ongoing treatment, document progress, and support families with training on individualized plans.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in a COTA program and an Ohio license, with a collaborative, student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
• Current Ohio license to practice as an OT Assistant.
• Valid driver’s license.
• FBI/BCI background check upon hire.
• Professional liability insurance recommended by governing body.
• Positive and goal-oriented; able to work with others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and customer service.
• Must align with company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing treatment to an assigned caseload.
• Communicate and collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
• Communicate, educate, and provide family training on treatment plans.
• Document and report students’ progress in line with school deadlines and procedures.
• Attend and report evaluation findings and therapy recommendations in family-friendly language during IEP/ETR meetings.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive culture through collaboration between school personnel and families.
• Maintain and document ongoing therapy minutes and report due dates.
• Complete Medicaid billing in line with school deadlines and procedures.
