Stark County Educational Service Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services for children with disabilities, in collaboration with partner districts. Responsibilities include evaluations, direct services, consultative support to staff and families, and supervision of OTAs.

The role also involves mentorship as a fieldwork instructor and active participation in MTSS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) from an accredited college or university.
• Secure and maintain a valid Ohio Educator License as required by placement or assignment including an Occupational Therapy License from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.
• Hold or complete a current Ohio BCI and Federal Background check free of disqualifying infractions.
• Comply with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
• Demonstrate ability to operate Google Applications (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs).

Responsabilités

• Maintain compliance with evaluations, assessments, treatments, communications, and documentation.
• Document student performance, progress, and changes in status in required formats.
• Perform initial, annual, and 3-year evals for students with suspected disabilities.
• Develop goals and objectives for IEP inclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to transfer skills to the classroom.
• Supervise OTAs and review daily case notes.
• Attend IEP meetings and MTSS activities.
• Supervise fieldwork for OT students.
