Job summary

Jefferson County Educational Service Center is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students with disabilities from preschool through high school. The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in Ohio. This position has a 210-day contract and is anticipated to begin as soon as possible, continuing through the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess experience or demonstrate knowledge to provide School-Based Occupational therapy for students with disabilities.
• Must be well-versed in applicable state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop therapy goals.
• Respond to requests for consultation on students.
• Develop Individual Educational Plans (IEP) with goals and objectives.

Skills

Experience with pre-school and school-age students

Knowledge of clinical theory

Ability to work cooperatively with educational staff

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio
