Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of Registration Board exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct service to children in sensory motor development, physical rehabilitation, perceptual deficits, and motor coordination.
• Evaluate referred students, score tests and write educationally relevant reports.
• Participate as a member of screening and evaluation teams.
• Attend case conferences on placement of individual students.
• Help develop Individual Educational Plans.
• Provide training to appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting.
• Maintain pertinent records on all referred students.
• Assign and supervise caseload and responsibilities of the COTA.
• Perform other duties assigned by the building principal or Superintendent.
