Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a great client in Winthrop, MA. This on-site contract role will provide therapy services to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active MA OT license required.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Support students with sensory integration, motor coordination, and adaptive skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
