Job summary

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team in Lancaster, South Carolina. You will evaluate students, implement individualized treatment plans, and provide direct OT services to improve participation and independence in classroom activities.

The role requires collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and compliance with IDEA/IEP requirements, with ongoing documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• SC license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• NBCOT certification.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based OT service delivery models.
• Experience in school-based OT preferred.
• Background screening and district onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify OT needs affecting participation and independence.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students across grades.
• Support students in fine motor, sensory regulation, self-care, and classroom skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
