Job summary

Crystal Lake School District 47 is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students’ educational progress through assessment, planning, and targeted intervention. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop functional goals and provide evidence-based interventions in the school environment.

The role involves documenting progress, supervising assistants, and ensuring compliance with state licensure and district policies while contributing to MDT/IEP

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy or equivalent.
• Experience and/or training in related field.
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
• Licensed by the Illinois Department of Registration and Education.
• Credentials required by the State agency and the District.

Responsibilities

• Comply with state rules, Board of Education policy, and procedures.
• Complete district reporting and documentation in a timely manner.
• Screen and assess referred students for services.
• Plan and develop educationally relevant intervention goals.
• Document progress and prepare reports for staff, parents, and agencies.
• Supervise assistants and collaborating students when assigned.
• Coordinate OT services with the educational team and MDT/IEP meetings.
• Maintain equipment, safety, and inventory; ensure proper working order.
