Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an Albuquerque, NM school-based contract. You will provide therapy services to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing treatment plans, delivering direct services aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, attending IEP meetings, and maintaining documentation to support progress

Qualifications

• Active NM OT license.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Support students with sensory integration, motor coordination, and adaptive skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
