Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Boston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a vibrant K-12 educational setting onsite. This contract role offers a stable 32.5-hour workweek, delivering direct OT services to students and supporting functional success in classroom activities, IEP goals, and social participation.

You will assess referred students, develop individualized plans, collaborate with teachers and families, attend IEP meetings, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Massachusetts OT license.
• Experience with children in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of current OT assessment tools and IEP process.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite to K12 students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student participation and independence in school activities.
• Provide consultation and training to classroom staff to support student accommodations and modifications.
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and service delivery in accordance with state and district requirements.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
