Job summary

ABC Therapy in Ohio is seeking a School Based Occupational Therapist to join our team. This in-person role offers PRN, part-time, or full-time options and serves Medina, Summit and Cuyahoga counties with a unique float position and flexible scheduling.

As part of our team, you will perform evaluations, deliver direct or consultative therapy, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to build essential life skills and maximize educational outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Valid state OT license and NBCOT certification.
• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Clear background check.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• School or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and challenges in the school context.
• Provide direct and/or consultative therapy services to school-aged students.
• Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in ETR and IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school, state, and federal guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to help students succeed academically and functionally.
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans for measurable outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, or classroom accommodations.

Compensation: $39-$48 per hour based on experience

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable outcomes
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, classroom accommodations, etc as applicable
• Perform other job duties as assigned
