Job summary

ABC Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver dynamic school-based therapy across educational settings. You will help children build life skills, maximize learning, and apply expertise in enjoyable, engaging sessions.

Start ASAP with flexible full-time or part-time options during the school year, including summer hours. Responsibilities include evaluations, direct/consultative services, IEP/ETR participation, and collaboration with teachers and families to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state OT license required.
• NBCOT board certification preferred.
• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Background check required.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive school-based evaluations.
• Provide direct and/or consultative therapy to school-aged students.
• Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, admins.
• Participate in ETR and IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation per guidelines.
• Develop individualized intervention plans focused on academics and function.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure measurable outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Start Date: ASAP

Type: W2, Full-time or part-time during the school year, option to work summer hours

Location: Positions available in the following Counties: Medina, Summit, Cuyahoga

Compensation: $39-$48 per hour based on experience

Qualifications

• School or pediatric experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and challenges related to performance in the school environment
• Provide direct and/or consultative therapy services to school-aged students
• Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable outcomes
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, classroom accommodations, etc as applicable
• Perform other job duties as assigned
