Job summary

BBBSEMO is seeking a Lead Mentor for the St. Louis program to organize and lead group mentoring sessions within our ABCToday Schools initiative.

The role involves coordinating with parents, teachers, and the Mentoring Site Supervisor, and delivering structured lessons and activities with mentors and volunteers. Based largely at the school site (minimum four days per week), you will monitor mentee progress, maintain attendance, and adapt programming with feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years related experience
• Knowledge of K-12 school and resource landscape
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead group mentoring sessions, coordinating with mentors and schools
• Communicate with parents/guardians, teachers, and site supervisor
• Maintain progress data and attendance records for mentees
• Collaborate with site supervisor and school to plan activities and experiences for youth
• Support enrollment and assessment of students into the program
• Prepare mentoring curriculum and activities, develop semester/year plans
