Job summary

Agape Child & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to deliver counseling services to students at a local high school and additional clients within the agency.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related clinical discipline.
• Current, independent clinical license in Tennessee (LPC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT).
• At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical counseling experience preferred.
• Experience with school-based, adolescent, trauma-informed, or crisis-intervention services preferred.
• Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma, behavioral health, and community-based resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral health services to students and clients, including assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
• Deliver universal and targeted prevention-focused programming aligned with grant scope.
• Develop and facilitate psychoeducational groups on emotional regulation, coping skills, and healthy relationships.
• Engage families in care planning, referrals, and safety planning as appropriate.
• Maintain confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals.
• Collaborate with school personnel and community providers to coordinate services while upholding confidentiality.
