Qualifications

• A minimum of one-year post-Master's preferred, with clinical experience working with children who struggle emotionally and behaviorally.
• Knowledge and experience working in family systems, child development, developmental psychopathology, attachment theory, child abuse, neglect and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide direct intervention (psychotherapy, psychoeducation, skills training) to children and families.
• Collaborate with school staff and providers to coordinate care.
• Provide teacher consultation and staff training related to student mental health.

Position Title: School Based Mental Health Therapist (Elementary School)

·Permanent and Float* Position Available

Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $57,800 - $69,300 a year for full time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour work week, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Schedule:

·Hiring for full time (30-40 hours) and part time (20-29 hours) positions.

·Days: Monday through Fridays.

·Time: dependent on school start and end times (example: 9:35am-4:05pm)

Position Overview:

This clinical role is dynamic and responsive to the needs of children in each setting and includes assessment, direct intervention (psychotherapy, psychoeducation, skills training), teacher consultation, care coordination, and/or mental health instruction to staff in classroom and/or individually to staff or families. The position requires a high level of abstract thinking, independence, and flexibility to put into practice the overall program structure and vision.

* The float position will provide coverage to schools when a therapist goes on an extended leave or a school needs extra temporary coverage. The person who performs successfully in this unique float position will have the first option to take an embedded school therapist position should one become available.

Job Qualifications:

Education

·A master's degree in a mental health field, from accredited college/university

·Is licensed as an LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT

·Or on a clinical track to receive their LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, and/or LP licensure

Experience
