Orchard Place in Des Moines is seeking a School Based Children's Mental Health Therapist to provide diagnostic and treatment services to students within our school partners, focusing on trauma-informed care and family involvement. You will work with a collaborative school support team, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, and educate families and school staff on mental health topics.

Formación

• Iowa licensure as LMSW/LISW/LMHC/LMFT or eligible for license.
• Experience providing therapy to children, youth and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual and family therapy to students in the school setting, trauma-focused.
• Evaluate children and families; complete mental health assessments.
• Develop and monitor specific mental health treatment plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and outside agencies for client needs.
• Provide education on mental health topics to schools and families.
• Support resiliency and positive outcomes for students.
