Wright Directions Family Services, part of the SUN Behavioral Health network, seeks an In-School Therapist to deliver school-based behavioral health services. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for students’ emotional and behavioral needs within regular school hours.

The contract position requires collaboration with families, school staff, and providers, plus crisis intervention and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Independent work with school personnel and families.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment and treatment planning.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students in the school setting.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and confidentiality.
• Foster a safe, supportive environment for student well-being.
