Job summary

Wright Directions Family Services in Beaufort, South Carolina is seeking an In-School Therapist (Contract) to deliver behavioral health services to students in the school setting, including assessment and treatment planning.

A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required, with experience in individual, family, and group therapy; the position is 30+ hours/week during the academic year and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children and adolescents.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering with school personnel, families, and other providers.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral health interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students in the school setting.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and confidentiality.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for student well-being and success.
