Wright Directions Family Services, a CARF-accredited member of the SUN Behavioral Health network, delivers compassionate behavioral health services to children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

The In-School Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy in the school setting, performs assessments, develops treatment plans, and coordinates care with families and school staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children and adolescents.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with school personnel, families, and other providers.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral health interventions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students in the school setting.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that promotes student well-being and success.
