Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking a Support Staff/ Mental Health/Behavior Assistant to plan, implement, and document Mental Health Day Treatment services in coordination with classroom teams. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, parents, and professionals to support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes; includes delivering services and ensuring documentation.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work or related field minimally required; mental health license preferred.
Experience working with behaviorally/emotionally challenged children/youth in a school setting preferred.
Understanding of emotional disturbance and impact on behavior.
Experience in development and implementation of treatment plans.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

Align practice with agency mission and trauma-informed Sanctuary Model.
Collaborate with team to provide integrated education and mental health services.
Develop, implement, and review each client's Individual Service Plan.
Deliver mental health services, including group meetings, using approved curricula.
Document Mental Health Day Treatment services per guidelines.
