Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland seeks an experienced behavioral health professional to coordinate prevention and wellness for the School Health Program. You will work independently across sites to support SHP goals.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing prevention programming, handling communication, data collection and outreach; building partnerships; providing mental health assessments and therapy for youths aged 3–21, including off-campus locations when needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related Behavioral Health field from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Currently licensed by Ohio as LISW or LPCC.
• 2 years of post-Masters experience with patients; pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience managing a caseload; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prevention and wellness programs for the School Health Program (SHP).
• Develop and implement prevention and wellness programming and outreach activities.
• Communicate, collect data, and manage relationships with internal and external partners.
• Provide mental health evaluations and treatments for patients aged 3–21; may serve off-campus locations.
• Perform diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with medical and mental health teams; uphold MetroHealth standards.
