Job summary

PRO Companies in Scranton, PA is seeking a School-Based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time, 10-month school-year role serving middle and high school students. The LPC will provide individual counseling and support the students' social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs within the school setting.

The role requires an active PA LPC license, experience in school-based counseling, and current clearances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or related field is required.
• Active Pennsylvania Professional Counselor License is required.
• Experience as a school-based LPC is preferred.
• Current clearances within 6 months are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to children and adolescents within the school setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment goals.
• Support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Engage in family outreach and connect families with community resources.
• Maintain required clinical documentation and monitor student progress.
