PRO Companies is seeking a School-Based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Scranton, PA. This is a full-time, 10-month position serving middle and high school students during school hours.

The LPC provides individual counseling, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, supports behavior management and self-regulation, and engages in family outreach. PRO emphasizes mentorship, training, and growth, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology or related field required.
• Active Pennsylvania Professional Counselor License required.
• Previous experience as a school-based LPC preferred.
• Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with behavioral/mental health needs.
• Current clearances within 6 months required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to children and adolescents within the school setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop treatment goals.
• Serve as a resource for behavior management and self-regulation strategies.
• Engage in family outreach and connect families with community resources.
• Monitor student progress and maintain required clinical documentation.

Education

Master's degree in counseling, psychology or related field

Active Pennsylvania Professional Counselor License

Previous experience as a school-based LPC

Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral/mental health diagnosis

Current clearances (within 6 months)
