Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks an Intervention Specialist to support students districtwide by delivering evidence-based counseling and crisis response services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Masters preferred.
• Valid Texas professional license in LCDC/LPC/LMFT/LBSW/LMSW/LCSW.
• 3–5 years experience with children/adolescents; trauma-informed experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus-based, short-term individual and group counseling for at‑risk students.
• Collaborate with campus staff to improve student academic achievement and behavioral health.
• Serve on Trauma Response Team and coordinate crisis response as needed.
• Develop Student Support Plans and monitor progress and follow up.
