Job summary

Fort Worth Independent School District seeks a Teacher for Special Education, Behavior and Intervention to support students’ emotional, social, and behavioral health within the academic setting.

You will deliver programs districtwide, develop and implement IEPs and BIPs, provide training to staff and families, and coordinate with School/Community Relations and Crisis Intervention teams to ensure comprehensive student support and safety across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Education, Mental Health, Human Services, or a related field required
• Master's degree in Education, Mental Health, Human Services, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral strategies to support students, including ABA-type strategies.
• Develop and provide follow up to IEP or Behavioral Improvement Plans (BIP).
• Offer information, training, education, and consultation to parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Coordinate with Special Education administration to address critical needs on campuses.
